The Winds of Winter
When can we read it?

How much of The Winds of Winter has been written so far?

Here is what we know.  According to George back in 2010,  he had four chapters already written.

But it’s good news for DANCE, since I’m now two chapters (the ones I hadn’t finished) closer to completion. And hey, it’s even good news for WINDS OF WINTER, since I now have four chapters done for that one (an Arya, a Sansa, and two Ariannes).

And we also know that there is a Theon sample chapter, from George’s other post.  That brings is to five chapters.

And George has also recently posted that a new sample chapter will be included with the paperback version of A Dance with Dragons.

How many others could have been written in the past 2 years?  That we are not sure about.
